Carla endures the most traumatic night of her life. With Maria by her side Carla calls the police and accuses Frank of rape. A trained officer arrives to support Carla as she gives an initial account of the assault. But as Carla’s being guided through the process, a cheery Frank walks back into the flat and is seemingly bewildered by the police presence. As he asks what’s going on Frank is stunned to be arrested on suspicion of rape. At the station he continues to protest his innocence. As an emotionally drained Carla undergoes forensic tests, will Frank be held by the police?
Meanwhile Peter arrives at the flat to check on Carla and is stunned to take in the scene. Reeling he informs the police he saw Frank earlier in an agitated state. Back at home a clearly distressed Peter tells Leanne what’s happened. She’s initially concerned but as she quizzes Peter on how he became involved her suspicions about Peter and Carla return. Will he be able to allay her fears?

A question from Frosty: where have all the cars suddenly parked in the street come from? From a street strangely bereft of motor vehicles and most folk either using street cars or the bus stop at the end of the street - suddenly there is nowhere to park and Miss Macintyresome and the catwalk copper have to block each other in, not contrived whatsoever!!
I read an article about this inaccuracy on Corrieblog just a few minutes ago! I really do wonder where cars are parked on the Street. :D
Stupid to the enth degree. Peter goes round to see how Carla is after he's told her to bog-off time and time again?? Carla didn't fight back what-so-ever? No scratches or bruises on Frank? C'mon..this is really getting embarrassing to watch...so...I won't I guess.
Does Peter know about Leanne's little affair with Danny Baldwin? Wouldn't that be justice for him to come back into the picture.
