What? Stape gives up his great job in front of the fryer working with adorable couple Roy and Hayley Cropper (who would, in time, treat him like a son) to go back behind a desk to teach poetry and literature to disinterested adults who just want their high school credits?
Some people like working in the food/restaurant trade...
I love John Stape - but I'm surprised he got a job teaching anyone, with his record?
Surely anyone with a criminal record would not be allowed to be a teacher? I think John should stay in Roy's Rolls offering sage advice and spelling help to the customers.
