Helen Worth designs Gail Platt's wedding frock

As we know, Gail Platt gets wed for the fifth time (to her fourth husband) tomorrow night on Coronation Street. Actress Helen Worth, who plays Gail, was interviewed today on GMTV about her wedding to Joe McIntyre. She reveals that Gail's wedding dress was designed to her own spec. She said: "I loved my wedding dress, costume were very kind - they let me design it so it was as I wanted it."

It's a far cry from Gail's first wedding to Brian Tilsley back in 1979 when Helen had to go out and buy her own shoes to wear for Gail's wedding!

I think she looks fabulous. Best Corrie wedding dress in a long time for me.

It's a lovely dress for a fifth wedding and the bride in her 50s. Aside from the high neck, i wouldn't mind something like that meself.
