Chris has been on leave for the summer to spend time with his family and as our picture shows, he's looking relaxed and rather lovely.
Chris was last seen on screen as Peter Barlow in July when he left Corrie with Carla after fighting Leanne for custody of little Simon.

Wonderful news! Have really missed Chris and Jane sparring so brilliantly.
He is looking good! He does look older but sexier too.
I can't wait for Peter and Carla to come back. Their absence has definitely been felt.
My mate was there, outside the gates and she said someone asked Chris where Alison King was and he said that she'll be in next week. No idea when they will be filming again though.

I don't agree at all..sorry but I think these two have had their day on the set. What else is there for them unless it's going to be another go-round with Leanne etc. This show needs a transfusion.
I didn't realise how much I like the characters Carla and Peter. Coronation Street has been dreadful since they left. One person I haven't missed is St. Leanne. It has been very pleasant so far not having to listen to her ranting.
Peter and Carla need to hurry up and get back!
The actor looks like he has lost weight to me.
