Xin, Becky, Tracy, James...are the scriptwriters trying to see how many pointless characters they can cram into a week of storylines?! The Blackpool episodes is far too similar to the storyline when Simon Barlow went missing in Blackpool not that long ago and it offers more proof the scriptwriters are running out of original characters. Also, why must they allocate so many plotlines and so much screentime to the thoroughly loathsome Tracy Barlow? Whilst some may claim she's a "love-to-hate" character, I just hate her full stop. I think there's no point in the character of Xin- I've nothing against Corrie having a Chinese character but why does she have to be such a flat, dislikable one with so little depth? Get rid!

Yawn....Amy goes missing, too bad it wasn't Tracy.......just when is her contact up? Steve's not too bright....wouldn't Amy be telling Becky she went to Blackpool with her Dad?....pointless lying all round. K

The writers must think people are daft. To continually use the same storylines over and over and just change the characters really is very poor script-writing. Also..could someone please give Gail a job?
