The previews are in from ITV for next week’s Coronation Street and Gemma gives Chesney the run around next week.
When Gemma finds out Brian has been banned from local radio quiz shows for arguing with the DJ she forms a plan.
Chesney later finds Mary taking part in a radio quiz show and is bemused to find that her competitor sounds exactly like Gemma. Chesney is horrified to find Gemma and Brian are a pair of cheats and Gemma is competing in the quiz - with Brian holding up the answers! Chesney tears a strip off Gemma when she and Brian win the £1000 quiz prize against Mary.
Then Chesney returns home and he’s horrified to hear blaring music and see smoke billowing from under the front door. With Tyrone’s help he breaks the door down to find Gemma and Paul dancing in the living room with a new sound system, a smoke machine and Rita watching in amusement on the couch. Is there a future for Chesney and Gemma after all?

Gemma has been raving mad since she first appeared. How anyone likes her is beyond me. Put her in an asylum and be done with her character .
I hate the way she eats. She talks with her month full of food. She is loud and she butts into everyones' business. Her clothes are terrible and so gaudy. And then there is the orange makeup and hairstyles. But the producer thinks she is great.
