Spot the Corrie prop - March 13th 2015

Many congratulations to Beth for being the first to guess that last week's natty little statuette can be found in the back room in Sally & Tim's house.

It's another easy prop puzzle his week as we ask whereabouts on the Coronation Street set you would find this prickly little cactus. Bonus points if you have any idea why, because it beats me.

Too easy! Weird thing to have in a public service place, Nick could get sued if a kid got it's hand covered in spines or even worse tried to eat it.

Just Nick's. Oh wait, it's called Nick's Bistro now... :)

Oh man, that's the Bistro for sure, with that ugly new décor and ridiculous prickly cacti on every table. Blech.

The Nicks Place cactus is magical - ever notice how the flower changes color? Sometimes pink, sometimes purple, kinda like the way Nick changes his head. Hey, how's his brain injury these days?

Nick's bistro with its weird decor, it reminds me of a cross between a shed on an allotment and a disused toilet. Horrid! --Smelloid

My theory is that they were going for total discomfort; hard metal chairs, peeling paint, slivers of wood, harsh lights. What plant fits with that? Cactus, of course! Who would notice unappetizing things in the food in such a place?!

Nick's Bistro is attempting a "shipwrecked on a desert island" theme, so the plants have to fit with that.

First prop I can recognise in ages - at Nick's Bistro. I thought I was pretty observant, but I can never get them.

Still not liking the new decor much, but it does seem to be better lit lately. All the better to see the peeling paint.
