Lowry, Media City:UK on Wednesday 14 May. The Panel includes former
producer for Dr Who and Coronation Street; Phil Collinson and human
rights activist; Peter Tatchell.
Forming part of Manchester Pride’s 2014 programme for International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOT), Discuss with Pride is a lively debate around the representation of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people in the media.
We welcome special guest speaker Peter Tatchell to open the discussions and then a number of other key media figures will join the panel and invite questions and comments from the audience.
