Commemorative beer created for Hayley Cropper - Red Anorak Ale

Hayley's departure from Coronation Street next week has been commemorated with a brand new ale.

Silverdale-based Best of British Beer produced the Red Anorak Ale to mark the death of Coronation Street’s Hayley Cropper.

The Red Anorak Ale was produced in time for Julie’s offical leaving party last year.

Director Gill Sherwin said: “We’ve been greatly helped by working with some very talented beer producers, and we’ve ventured into creating some collaboration beers with a number of them, including the Lymestone Brewery from Stone.”

What an interesting tribute!

Especially since the character of Hayley never drank beer:/ But I guess her friends do and, more importantly, the viewers...

Seems a wee bit over the top.
