Corrie fans vote Roy and Hayley romance as fave 1990s moment

Coronation Street Blog readers have voted Roy and Hayley's romance as their favourite moment from 1990s Corrie. This happened between 1998 and 1999. 202 of you voted and 55 (27.23%) voted for the wonderful romance of the Croppers.
 
In second place came an iconic moment of Corrie when Deirdre was wrongly imprisoned in March 1998 with 37 votes (18.32%). In third place came the Battersbys' arrival in July 1997 with 24 votes (11.88%).
 
In fourth place came the incident of Reg's waterbed leaking in April 1993 with 22 votes (10.89%). In fifth place came Raquel being taught French by Ken Barlow in August 1993 with 12 votes (5.94%). In sixth place came Bet leaving the Rovers in October 1995 with 9 votes (4.46%) and Bet and Rita's showdown the same month came seventh with 7 votes (3.47%).
 
Ken and Mike's fight in April 1990; the love triangle of Des, Raquel and Tanya in 1993; and Curly and Raquel's wedding in December 1995 all received 5 votes (2.48%).
 
The following received 3 votes (1.49%): Carmel the mad nanny between 1992 and 1993; Alf Roberts receiving his OBE in December 1995; Jim hitting Liz in February 1996; Don kidnaps Alma in April 1997; and the Sally/Kevin/Natalie love triangle in 1997.  
 
Both Terry selling Tommy in December 1993 and the character of Nick Tilsley (played by Adam Rickitt from 1997) received 2 votes (0.99%). Emily spending a night up a tree in January 1998 and the Duckworths running the Rovers between 1995 and 1998 received 1 vote (0.5%).
 
Sadly, Don killing himself in October 1997 and Fiona being jilted by Alan in November 1997 received 0 votes (0%).
