MONDAY 5TH AUGUST at 7.30pm
TERRIFIED NICK GOES JOURNEYING WITH HIS NEMESIS. After David’s questions about guilt and betrayal in light of the poison pen letter, Nick’s now panic stricken that he could know the truth. After spotting him talking to Tina, Nick presses Tina for details of the conversation. When she admits she’s worried about David as he’s found out Kylie cheated and is intent on revenge. Nick feels sick, but as he and David set off in the van to pick up some furniture, will he risk tackling David?
TRACY AND ROB EMBARK ON THEIR NEW VENTURE. As Rob and Tracy open the shop she’s keen to let Rob know she’s his equal not his employee. Enjoying watching Rob squirm Peter suggests that if Rob’s serious about her maybe Tracy should move in with him. How will Rob react to the prospect of them living together?
GARY GOES PART-TIME TO LOOK AFTER JAKE. As Izzy sets about convincing Owen to let Gary work part-time, Tina returns from her holiday and is quickly jolted back to reality when she sees Jake is home.
ELSEWHERE Jenna starts work at the cafe much to Mandy’s annoyance. Norris suspects Craig of playing pranks on him.
MONDAY 5TH AUGUST at 8.30pm
NICK AND DAVID’S ROAD-RAGE ENDS IN DISASTER. With a beating heart Nick apologises to David, explaining what happened with Kylie was a one-off and meant nothing to either of them. David flies at Nick, admitting to his hate campaign and how he even contemplated suicide when he discovered the truth. Ashamed at the damage this secret has done Nick insists it’s time to head home and talk to Leanne and Kylie. Suddenly scared that he’ll lose Kylie who he still loves, David impulsively unfastens Nick’s seatbelt and grabs the wheel. As the van careers out of control, crashing off the road and into the path of an oncoming lorry will either brother survive the impact?

PETER DRIVES A WEDGE BETWEEN ROB AND TRACY. Rob tries to fob Tracy off about moving in but cutting through his spiel she asks if he’s just using her for her money. Rob insists he isn’t but can he persuade Tracy?
BETH ADMITS CRAIG DID STEAL THE PAPERBOY. When Beth forces Craig to admit that he did steal Norris’ paperboy, Norris decides a punishment is in order, Craig can deliver the papers free for a month.
ELSEWHERE Relations are fractious for Lloyd, Mandy and Jenna. With Tommy’s support Tina reveals she’s determined to put on a brave face and move on from her turmoil over Jake.

Just out of curiosity, shouldn't the winnings technically belong to Amy? Why doesn't Deirdre insist the amount should all be placed into Amy's account. She could be the first Corrie resident to get a university education and actually use it.
Yeah! She could hang her framed degree certificate in the Rovers. She could see it while she was pulling pints, and it would also cover that annoying damp spot on the wall.
