Coronation Street, Friday 4th November
Carla flees as Michelle takes over the factory. As Michele pleads with Carla not to let Frank off the hook she convinces her to go to LA and think first, leaving her briefly in charge of the factory (she‘s due to marry Ciaran in the Bahamas in 2 weeks). Carla’s persuaded and Michelle sets about the daunting task ahead by storming into Frank’s factory. Branding him a rapist she makes an impassioned plea to the workers, explaining Underworld is back in business and asking them to listen to their consciences. Will they be moved?
Jeff’s handling of Rosie overshadows Sophie’s day. It’s Sophie’s birthday but as they celebrate with a party at the Websters it soon becomes all about Rosie. The Gazette article is out, featuring tasteless photos and sordid tittle tattle about the family. Sally’s stunned as Rosie insists Jeff made her do it
Chesney visits Fiz as Schmeichel gets ill. As Katy worries about their overdue rent all Chesney can focus on is Fiz. But as he leaves for prison to discuss the funeral arrangements he notes Schmeichel seems subdued. Kirk promises to look after him.
Elsewhere as Lloyd plays poker with the lads Cheryl sneaks off to be with Chris. When she questions him about the next phase of his treatment will Chris come clean? As the Windasses celebrate with a tea party Faye plays a trick on Owen.
Friday 4th November
Michelle goes toe-to-toe with Frank. Frank’s furious when Izzy and Julie down tools and follow Michelle out. Back at Underworld Dunbar’s arrived to check on his order and Michelle has work cut out convincing him it’s in safe hands. She manages but as the girls work through the night to get the order finished Michelle goes through the accounts, worrying that no matter what she does the factory’s still doomed! Meanwhile Michelle’s parents take the news that she’s planning to marry on a beach badly. But will Ciaran agree to a traditional wedding in Weatherfield?
Fiz gets leave to say goodbye to her husband. As Fiz plans John’s funeral with Ches, she’s desperate to be allowed to attend with Hope, as in years to come she wants to be able to tell Hope about her father’s funeral. But will the governor grant Fiz dispensation?
Sally has a series of showdowns at Sophie’s party. As Sally berates Jeff for cashing in on Rosie’s ordeal he defends his job. Will Sally be pacified? Fireworks resume when Sally then spots the engagement ring on Sophie’s finger.
Elsewhere thinking that Chris is sat alone in his flat Lloyd feels guilty and heads over to ask him to join the poker night. But will he find him taking comfort from his girlfriend Cheryl? Anna & Owen are left regretting keeping Faye in the dark.

When is Frank going to get some proper lighting fitted at his new factory? It looks (and sounds) like a dungeon! Maybe it's deliberate in order to underline his dark side, but surely it must result in some rather wonky gusset stitching!
Oh really.... Michelle is left to rescue Underworld!.....a PA?...Maria was a PA longer wasn't she...perhaps she should give it a try or maybe Kirk who has all that experience packing underwear.....laughable, really.
I guess Michelle must have gotten her degree in business administration whilst she was cavorting around the Caribbean with Cieran. Who knew she was a genius underneath her singer/bar-maid guise? Thank Zeus she arrived just in the nick of time to save Carla's faktry from destruction. Carla never would have made it without her I'm sure. Keith D. looks strangely detached from the whole thing - wooden actually.
Keith D. looks rather sickly to me...he's lost a lot of weight. Is he leaving the show due to health reasons I wonder?
Sians dress at sallys party. Where can I get one? It was stunning.
