Spoiler: Frank Foster to be killed off

There's a Coronation Street spoiler in today's Mirror that says Frank Foster is getting killed off - and Kev Webster will be suspect number one.  Kevin  will be hauled into the Weatherfield cop shop over Frank's murder after he targets Kevin’s estranged wife Sally at Christmas.

The paper says that a Corrie spokeswoman insisted the Frank storyline had to run to its conclusion. She said: “Coronation Street’s fantastic mix of drama, comedy and romance will continue into 2012.”

And here's some 2012 Corrie spoilers

Person arrested = the innocent one. I would have thought Peter would have been another suspect as well. My guess is Sally did it in self defence. Will it be her turn to take on the Deirdre Barlow "I didn't do it" award or will it be clear cut self defence.

oh good grrrrief - they've only just let one innocent person back on the street just last week having been locked up. And is it going to be in rotation now as soon as one is released one gets arrested?
Corrie's an awful place for murder you wouldn't catch me going anywhere near the place!!!

Wasn't Phil Collinson saying just a couple of months back that they'd over done it on crime and they intend laying off for a while - what.... a few episodes...???? It's more like the flamin Bill than Coronation Street. Build a prison on the Red Rec and be done with it!!!

Yay more Sally on our screens, just what I wanted...

Collinson has no clue, he seems bound and determined to force the cancellation of the programme.
However I would welcome the departure of Kevin if he is the guilty party in this murder farce.
Actually I would just like to see him leave period he is useless, all he does is his tough guy face and nothing else.

Why do all Corrie villains have to die? In this case, I think it would be a more powerful statement if Frank were to go to jail for his crimes, since it sounds like Sally will soon be able to vouch that he's a nasty piece of work. Instead, we've got an original whodunnit. Although, if another character has murdered Frank, that would suggest that someone else is leaving the show too.

It's a soap law that villains must pay for their crimes. Having them die so there can be a murder mystery is standard soap fodder so I think they prefer that over just getting nicked. If someone has killed Frank in self defence, they wouldn't have to leave the show, though.

Rosie?

... or Frank has done this many times before - because why should he suddenly assault three women in the space of six months. Many people could be suspect but the truth outs in the end. Vengeance comes at the hand of a previous victim or their partner. Therefore, nobody leaves the show.

Agree Humpty Dumpty, the "expendable crew member" syndrome!

Too many suspects and the murder will go unsolved. IMO

Boring..............

Tvor, I always thought that there was a soap law about murderers, yet Tracy walks the street, and she committed pre-meditated murder!

Wouldn't it be nice to see a baddie rot in prison for once?

Hm I reckon it will be Kev who is the suspect and if he is found guilty of this accusation then its a way of writing him out.
