The award was given at the Royal Television Society North West Awards 2011 which was held at the Manchester Hilton on Saturday 19 November.

The Road to Coronation Street is brilliant and anyone whose a fan of Corrie and hasn't seen it really should take a gander. Further proof that Daran Little is desperately needed as a writer on the show, if not a storyline consultant!!
The street went down hill when Daran left for EE :( He's soooo talented!
