Sacha Parkinson has not revealed any Corrie Christmas spoilers

Has anyone read the book Flat Earth News? It's all about how news stories get repeated and repeated all over the internet, all over the world, all over different media without anyone actually checking if they're true. I'm sure it happens a lot, and we're probably guilty of it as much as anyone in that we post tabloid spoilers, which as we all know, often don't happen.  But hey, we're a fan blog and we love gossip too.
Anyway, there was a story today in The Mirror saying that Sacha Parkinson (Sian Powers) on Coronation Street had been ticked off by Corrie bosses for revealing that Coronation Street was going to have a white Christmas. And the story has been repeated ad nauseum, even by the Press Association, which really should know better. 

The white Christmas secret was revealed on twitter, but not by Sacha Parkinson.  It was revealed by a high-level  ITV/Corrie employee. We asked for and received permission to add the photos to the blog, and we blogged them right here.
