Beverley Callard has pulled-out of a Christmas pantomime because of ill-health, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Bev, who played Liz McDonald, , was due to star as the Wicked Queen in a production of Sleeping Beauty at Sheffield’s Lyceum Theatre.
In a statement she said she was sorry to disappoint her fans but had been forced to quit for health reasons.
However, ex-Corrie actress Margi Clarke, who played Tyrone’s mum Jackie Dobbs in Coronation Street, has taken over Bev's role.

Ill - health? Well what about all of this 'keep fit' that Beverly Callard does in her DVDs?
There are many types of "ill health", would be great if exercise could eradicate them all.
I wish Bev Callard well, and I think Margi Clarke will be brilliant in the part; she was really good at playing Tyrone's horrid mother!
