Staggering.

Who decides these nominations? Okay, it's personal preference I guess, but Keegan/King sexiest females in Corris? KK the show's best actress? Tracy best villain? Seriously?

Reminds me of the wag who once questioned the suggestion that Ringo was the best drummer in the world... "he's not even the best drummer in the Beatles..."

The only one worthy of a vote IMO is Chris Gasgoyne as Peter.

The other are just daft, Tommy is a good character but hardly warrants being nominated as he has only been in about two episodes so far and Tracy - best villan - all the web boards were full of what a terrible actress she was not so long ago. It would rather see Owen up for it!

Jane Danson has been robbed

Best of luck to Chris Gascoyne (Peter)

How come KK gets nominated?! For screaming every episode? Have the voters been blind to Jane Danson or Sally Dynevor's performances recently?

I'm glad Chris Gascoyne has been chosen. Worthy of it!

Villain of the year, Tracy?! - Do me a favour?! Should be worst come back, most annoying of the year or can't act for toffee award ...... Good grief am flabbergasted!

Sally Dynevor's performance the night of the live episode was brilliant as was Jane Danson's!

Disgusted by all awards ceremonies these days.

It is a crime that Jane Danson is not on that list.

And why is the pantomime villain Tracy Barlow on that list after only being back in the show for FOUR MONTHS!

I suspect the BSAs will be yet another travesty, and once again EastEnders will walk away with another clutch of awards despite Corrie's absolute cinematic and dramatic episodes in December.

(Any soap that places a value on "Sexiest... anything" is beneath my contempt anyway)

Its a terrible shame that Jane Danson and Sally Dynevor have not made the list. The problem with these awards is that they depend on the popularity of the programme, (Hollyoaks and Emmerdale rarely win) and also the acting gets mixed up with popularity of the character.

Word to Adam Rekitt, although didn't Jane Danson win an real acting award recently? I really think Chris Gascoyne deserves it although I have to wonder if his nasty past will hurt him in a popularity contest.

Well, I've voted - and since I don't watch any of the other soaps, my votes have been for corrie all the way, even though I don't really agree with some of the nominations.

Well personally I wanted Jane Danson to make the shortlist...As much as I like Katherine Kelly, I feel that Danson deserved it more :/
