Meeting Sam Aston
I had the lucky opportunity today to meet Sam Aston, who plays Chesney on Coronation Street. It happened in a pub in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia in Canada called the Parkside Pub where the local 'Downeast Streeters' have held pings (Corrie fan get-togethers) over the last year or so. The opportunity was a sudden one and was organised quite quickly but the pub was filled with over 100 happy punters who mostly all got to meet Sam and get an autograph and a photo, me included. Naturally, I blogged all about it!
