With so many comings and goings on Coronation Street at the moment, this blog post clarifies which Corrie characters are returning to the show.

Returning characters this year as confirmed by ITV are as follows:
Peter Barlow
Brian Packham
Tracy Barlow's ex-husband
Robert Preston. The show are casting for a new actor to play the role.
We also know that Jimmi Harkishin, who plays Dev Alahan, is on an official break from the show, and as far as we know, will be returning some time.

I've barely noticed Dev has gone?
He can stay in India forever, as far as I am concerned. And let a great new character actor take over the running of the corner shop. Then it might get used a bit more.
If only Sylvia hadn't left - Stephanie Cole would have been perfect as the new owner.
