Pics and video: Urban snappers break into Coronation Street set

The Manchester Evening News reports that guerilla snappers were thrown off the old Coronation Street set after taking a series of pictures of the cobbles at night.

Coronation Street security guards threw out trespassers after they had taken a series of night-time pictures of the deserted former set.

The MEN contacted Coronation Street bosses who insist they DID catch the two trespassers. A spokesman said: “People were found on the site by security and were removed immediately.”

But one of the photographers told the MEN that they had not been caught in the act or booted off the site. He said: “This is a high profile site and I was surprised at the security to be honest. At times we were four or five metres away from the guard but he did not see us.”

So, well, you'll be wanting to see the guerilla snappers snaps, right?  Here they are - and they're fantastic!
