Paula says she's just filmed all of the birth scenes for Kylie, which are due to go out
at the end of August. And that she's now filming scenes where Kylie finds out that the car crash was caused by David and Nick arguing about the baby secret
Asked if it's true that we're going to see a whole new Nick when he comes out of his coma, Paula says: "Yes, even the visual impact for Nick is instant, once he comes out of the coma.
There's massive stuff coming up and I think it's genius what they're going to do with Ben's character. It's almost like giving him a brand new person to play, because he's not really ever going to be the same again. The material that Ben is going to be given is great, and it should be interesting to watch as not many soaps have played a storyline like that before."

Yes, there's no getting away from the fact that (for once) no-one can accuse the writers and storyliners of being unoriginal and rehashing ancient plots with what they're doing to Nick. I'm really looking forward to seeing how this plays out.
Not many soaps have used this storyline before?
Well, I do seem to remember Tracy Barlow being a fairly innocuous, dullish sort of teenager before suddenly transforming overnight into a sort of cross between Myra Hindley and Margaret Thatcher, but more evil.
Similarly, Ryan Connor was given a new head and again overnight, became someone prepared to sell his granny for a few quid to buy drugs.
Hardly an innovation.
Another bad-un on the street. Nick will switch personalities with David I guess.
Can they find Gail somewhere? She's gone missing. A replicant has taken her place - all that's left is a simpering whispering half-wit - just awful.
It's not a faR stretch. Brain damage can change personality traits on many levels. This is a good storyline. Of coarse being a soap, it is the equivalent of bringing in the evil twin, without the twin :).
"Even the visual impact for Nick is instant" - maybe they''ve recast the role and Warren Jackson will be back!
