Corrie's set to get another troublesome teen in the shape of Faye Windass' friend. She'll be played by young actor Ella-Grace Gregoire, from Lytham who we'll see on screen next month.
Ella-Grace said: “I couldn’t believe it when I got the part. Now I am mixing with all the other actors who I have been watching for years. It’s a bit mad when they just say ‘hi’ to me. They are so friendly and nothing like their screen characters. It’s an amazing place.”
Ella-Grace got the part after being talent spotted at the Scream Theatre School, based at Wareham Road, Blackpool, and is set to take her bow on September 13.
Mum Elaine said: “It’s her favourite programme and my mum’s favourite programme too. The whole family’s been brought up on Coronation Street so it’s a dream come true for her. She was a bit starstruck when she was first on set, it’s amazing.”

Oh God, how unfortunate. I was hoping to see less of Faye, not more!
Not again. Another nutter joins the cast. Is there any reason to keep viewing? No. Other than Haley leaving I don't think it's worth the time anymore.
I've decided I'm glad Hayley's leaving. At least I won't have to put up with seeing her name spelled wrong in nine out of every ten comments.

You and everyone else will continue watching no matter how many times you all say you don't agree with a plot or say Corrie comes out with rubbish storylines. Why? Because its addictive and you still really want to know what is going to happen.
I have to laugh at all the "Can't be bothered with Corrie" comments or "there is no reason to watch it". Especially when you all keep coming back to the blog anyway to see what happens.
Anyway I have confidence in this young actress, good to see fresh blood instead of the tired old characters. Just as long as they don't overplay her being troublesome, and at least have some redeeming qualities.
Aw, bless. They can form a gang of violent lunatics along with David and Garry. They can spray paint stuff and start things on fire... oh, wait.
She hasn't even appeared in one episode yet and you all are telling her leave the street. Give the poor girl a break. Good luck Ella-Grace :)

Personally I think Faye is a good actress with great potential. It maybe she needs new young blood in the cast to make her shine even brighter.
