Street Style: Teal Time with Claudia Colby

Since we've all had to endure the tireless, tedious, ridiculous storyline of Claud and Aud fighting over Marc the false-y-toothed cross dresser, I thought I'd feature Claudia "Don't hate me cos you ain't me" Colby's personal style for this edition of "Street Style." I included the red wig in case Marc sees this and would appreciate that I threw it in there because I was thinking of him.

I think Claudia was right all along - Marc really was after her for her style. She is quite the diva! Agree/disagree? Also, did anyone find this storyline entertaining in the least?

I enjoyed the storyline, mainly because it gave us more screen time with Audrey!

I agree, Tvor. Stories about friends or even frenemies are my favorite. I'm glad they left the door open and hope Claud will be back one day, even if only to give Aud a break from a steady diet of Gail & David. Realistically (oy!), they would run into each other professionally. This thing with Mark was too silly that it couldn't be overcome.

BTW, don't we have a rain check for a night out with Rita & Doreen?

I liked the storyline - it was different and about people's little foibles rather than headline grabbing dross. Love Aud and Claude as characters too.

Such a shame to have them part. They could have been a great Thelma and Louise match, only without the murder!

I've really enjoyed the Audrey/Claudia/Marc storyline, which has been amusing and dramatic without being too sensationalist. I'll miss Claudia's presence on the Street, but like abbyk I'm glad that there is still a chance for her to make a comeback at some stage.

I liked her as well & loved her glam - hope she comes back.

Was that a take on her US commercials from the '70's... "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful"?
I too really liked this character and how she interacted with Audrey. It kept Audrey on her toes with another contemporary, energetic senior business woman around. Here, Here!

How did Mark keep from spitting all over his co-workers with those teeth? Talk about needing dental work. Anyway, I found the storyline embarassing to watch. Not believable in the slightest and now we have more geriatric follies to look forward to with Marc and Audrey...GAAAGGG

I loved it. Reminded me of "Old Corrie". Snarling and bickering at it's best. Isn't this what Vera/Jack/Percy/Hilda and their ilk used to do and was such fun to watch. Nice to know I'm not the only one what gets involved in petty hissy fits with frenimies of my own. Encore!
