Shame they didn't win the Best Soap, but they deserved all those other awards. Nice to see Barbara Knox making an appearance. Gonna be a good show on Wednesday I should think!
These awards just encourage all that is worst in soaps. What has sexiest male/sexiest female to do with soaps' quality? Rewards are given to sensational stories and overworked characters, not the best writing or actors. The Molvin story was tedious, unrealistic and irritating. By far the best scene in the past year was the one where Deidre got the Manchester Tart in her face.
I don't get how Corrie can win all those awards and yet EE get Best Soap - how strange!
rigged
Disappointed Chris Gascoyne didn't get best actor, and would have dearly loved for Alison King to win over Michelle Keegan, but delighted for all Corrie's other winners, especially Jane Danson and Alex Bain. :)
Ali King should have won sexiest female in my opinion ;)
I can't bear the fact EE keeps winning best soap! How can this be when the street wins so many others?!
