Whenever I read that Coronation Street's filmed two endings in a cliffhanger storyline, I always think to myself that they probably haven't, I mean, when would they have the time to do so? But in the case of Gail McIntyre at court, two endings have indeed been filmed and both were witnessed by shoppers and members of the public who were outside Bradford City Hall to watch events unfold.
It says here that in one scene Gail McIntyre came out of the building flanked by David, Nick and Audrey. Chased by reporters and photographers, played by extras, they ran to a waiting cab, giving the impression that Gail had been acquitted. Running down the City Hall steps Gail cried: “Tina, you heard what the judge said!” Tina was clearly distressed at the outcome of the Court case and was comforted by her on-screen boyfriend Jason.
In an alternative scene, David, Nick and Audrey came down the steps looking upset, with David angrily confronting Tina. Street busybodies Norris and Mary stood at the bottom of the steps, watching the action unfold.
A spokesman for the production team said two outcomes were being filmed. Fans will be on tenterhooks until the summer to find out Gail’s fate.

But i can't see how there's even a question. Gail would never go down for a murder she didn't commit.
I won't be on tenderhooks. It's not that I dislike the Gail McIntyre character, but it seems like the writers will have a better time writing about Gail's jail experiences than her going back to her usual humdrum life... c'mon, what are the writers going to do with her once she's back at the Cobbles...go after some other hapless/feckless husband material --for which there's none at the moment...get into more fights with Tina/David/Eileen...ho hum, yawn..--oh Gail, do stay just a bit longer in Her Majesty's B&B and perhaps learn a new trade, write a book, make some new friends...and what a bonus -- your meddlesome, troublesome family can only visit you at certain times and then they have to....leave!
Tvor - yeah, of course, there'll only ever be one outcome but it's good to know that when they say they film two endings, they sometimes really do ;-)
Yeah, we all know what ending they'll choose.
Well I cant see them writing Helen Worth out so the verdict will be a foregone conclusion. I too wonder where Gail can go from here, to be honest I have had enough of her for a very long time.
exactly roy-shes not leaving hence she wont go down for it-or if she does she'll get out on appeal coz tracys evidence will be withdrawn or something
either way it wont be long till shes back
