Every year in Toronto there's an event called The British Isles Show which over the years has been well supported by Granada/ITV who send over Coronation Street stars to attend the event. This year it was the turn of Katherine Kelly and Antony Cotton to press the flesh and sign autographs for their adoring fans on the other side of the pond. But how will they get back?
Flights into the UK have been halted because of the volcanic ash cloud from Eyjafjallajokull hanging over northern Europe and look likely to remain that way for quite a while. It's great for the 2 actors who I guess will now have an unexpected holiday where they can indulge in as much cod cheeks and poutine as they like. But will there have to be some hasty script rewrites?
