The Sun reports today that Betty Driver, who plays Betty Williams on Coronation Street, is in hospital with a chest infection.

Great questions, but I wish you had added one more: For statistical purposes, what year did you start watching Coronation Street? Blogs like this tend to have more young readers than older ones, and it would be interesting to see if newer viewers made different choices than long term fans. Maybe next year?
