Kate Ford, who plays psycho Tracy Barlow in Coronation Street, tells this week's Inside Soap magazine that Tracy plans to wed Steve McDonald.
Kate says: "Tracy loves the idea of Steve. Whether she actually loves him is another story, though! She's sure that she can tempt him away from Becky. Tracy plans to be married to Steve within a year - she thinks that she's on the road to success and will play the long game."
Oh, please, no.

Tracy doesn't know how to love anyone. She may feel somewhat of a maternal bond to Amy but it leaves a lot to be desired when you use your child for your own means which is what she's going to do with Steve. No surprise she wants to marry him, you could see that in the cards.
That would be the absolute worst storyline, Tracy and Steve marrying! I would love to see a storyline where Amy turns out to be Roy's daughter, Tracy is horrified and leaves Weathefield or possibly Claire could secretly return from France and push her harder this time...
ARGHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haven't we been down this road before? Any feelings are clearly on Tracy's part. Any feelings that Steve demonstrates are only shown to ensure that he remains a part of Amy's life. If Tracy thinks that being one happy family would be beneficial to Amy, she should have thought about that before she planned to murder Charlie.
If Tracy plays any part in splitting Steve & Becky up, I'm sure that he'll want nothing to do with her relationship wise. She should remember how Karen's behaviour led to the breakup of her marriage, and I do expect her to see that Becky's behaviour leads to the breakup of her marriage. Tracy's behaviour would probably lead to them breaking up before the end of their wedding night! :D
She really never has moved past that teenage crush she had on Steve when he first moved to the street, has she?
Well, it might be fun to watch Becky kick the $hit out of Tracy. Isn't this the same sort of story that was the Steve/Karen/Tracy line a few years ago and Steve had finally had enought of Karen and gave her the boot? I'm getting my stories mixed up I think.
If Tracy marries Steve it's definately time to switch off!!!!
If you're going to retread a storyline, I'd rather it was a good one. This one stinks on ice.
Yes, it all seems rather familiar.. including all of the "let's go off together and not tell your wife and then I'll make a move on you!" Then I will smirk every time I see you/your wife (oh wait... she smirks *all* of the time..)
Rebecca in TO
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Yet another atrocious storyline involving arguably the Street's most irritating character. I'm rapidly losing faith in Corrie and if this is true it's another example of the spectacular decline in quality over the past few months.
I wish they would just let Steve and Tracyluv lead different paths. Steve would not touch her with a bacon balm but if it leads to Becky leaving I can see why it is being muted. The writers cant seem to think of anything else to do with her except shock and the problem is once a character has bumped someone off there is little more they can do to shock! Tracys soul purpose is to shock so its best she takes a floristry job down in london and gegts back with robert pronto in my opinion.
I agree with Apple Cobbler: another terrible downturn. I stopped watching after the tram crash, after which everything slipped quickly downhill. The programme now is a pale shadow of its former self and, I believe, ready for the knacker yard.
Move Corrie back to 2 episodes a week then they wouldnt have to think up so many daft story lines - no-one would suffer Tracy - as for John - Seriously??
How about an episode where Tracy gets her comeuppance from everybody on the street sort of Christmas Carol type dream sequence and then when she wakes up send her back to jail. She keeps being rewarded for being a cow -- I want revenge and probably most of the watchers too.
