Graeme Hawley on 'Teflon' John Stape

Graeme Hawley is going to be one busy beaver in tonight's live episode. He's going to be on screen more than any other character and he's decided he needs special footwear to help him run from set to set faster! In one quick change, he's got 1 minute 40 seconds to get from one spot to another though it only looks like a few feet on screen. He says he's done it in 1 minute 30.

In this interview in the Mirror he says his wife and friends are having a party to watch him and are probably going to be taking bets on whether he messes up! Thing is, even if he or any of the actors fluffs a line or stammers or hesitates, I wouldn't mind. People do that all the time in real life so it would be realistic. I suppose you don't expect that on a tv show, though so I'm sending all the best of luck to all the actors.

Meanwhile, John Stape is going to be scurrying around hiding the evidence. Graeme talks in the interview about his character's endurance on the show. Initially only meant to be on screen three months, the writers keep coming up with good storylines for him and people seem to accept all the bad decisions and lies Stape comes up with. Nothing seems to stick to Stape so far aside from his brief term in jail. Fiz keeps forgiving him but can she after this latest twist?

Fans seem to see him as an honest man at heart, who is a lousy decision maker. Eventually, though, Soap Law dictates he's got to be discovered. What happens then is anyone's guess!
