New Coronation Street writer - Cardy O'Donnell

Last night a new Coronation Street writer was credited.  Cardy O'Donnell's first Corrie episode was aired on Wednesday September 18 2014.

If you can help write Cardy O'Donnell's Corrie writer profile, do please let me know. I can't find much online about him.

He is on twitter @cardyovascular and his twitter profile reads: "A member of the Fleetwood diaspora, now residing in Liverpool. I write Coronation Street by day, and novels no one wants to read by night"

'Novels nobody wants to read' doesn't sound very encouraging does it!

Oh, it just sounds like a self deprecating joke to me :) Congrats to Cardy O'Donell. Martesbc

No matter what his background, it can't hurt to have some new ideas in the script-writing department.

Lets hope he comes up with better stories than we have had to endure amongst personality transplants etc.

And PLEASE let him respect the history of the show and its characters.
