Tina Mac n Cheese. (same colour). Tired of, end of, boring. Wish there was better development between her and a female character her age, but she never seemed to buddy up with anyone. She needs a new gene pool. Best that she's leaving. Otherwise, show working for me. Like the funny Dev side line. Sophie still a cringe. The guys are keeping it light. Glad to see David recovering.
I 'm liking this Sunita-less Dev though wish he would give the boot to harridan Sophie and her sour- puss face and attitude.
Like Becky Grainger before her, Tina being shoe horned into almost every scene and storylne is making the viewers totally fed up with her and cant wait for her to leave. A bit of a shame really!!
Unreal how Tina says to Peter at the wedding..."What is it you want from me???" Want from her? She's the one who stayed till the end and stalked him in the reception room.....came to his flat after seeing he was alone....seems to me she's the one wanting something from him...it's ridiculous and completely unbelievable. He almost seems not bothered, couldn't care less.
I never noticed Becky being overexposed. I enjoyed her to the last. But I do agree with you about Tina (and Stella before her). Shame as she was a refreshing character when she first met David.
I wonder if there is Green Room resentment from all the other seldom-seen actors.
NZ Coro Junkie: I wondered the same moreso over the publicizing of Michelle Keegan over any other actor on that show.
I find the Corrie publicity team promote her and her storylines to the point of shoving them down the viewers throats. I have never, NEVER seen an affair storyline get so much pushing on social media as this Tina/Peter one. Apparently no other couple on the show have the 'electric chemistry' that Tina and Peter have. Absolute bollocks. I find Peter and Carla have more chemistry than Peter and Tina.
Seems to me, that because MK was voted Sexiest female, she garners far more attention than she deserves in my opinion. I used to like the character of Tina, but she is not, by any stretch of the imagination, the best actor on that show. Yet somehow she is always at the forefront of their publicity teams. Even the Text Santa, skit, it's, again, become the Tina McIntyre show! Almost as if the publicity team works only for her.
The other actors may not have resentment towards her constant attention and promotion, but I find it quite insulting tbh.
Why does one get the impression that the two little kids aren't Hayley's grand kids? Think Christian has gone with the money and no more contact till he needs more money. Tina's actions came over very creepy why is she flogging the same old horse - Peter isn't interested in you look for someone younger someone with a sense of humour and up and go.
