Terry Duckworth to return to the cobbles
This just in from ITV, bad boy Terry Duckworth is set to make an "explosive" return to Weatherfield. I guess that means we will be "reeling" when we find out why he's back.
But it's true, Terry apparently has a big reveal which will cause some ructions. He also doesn't realise that his son, Tommy, has been living there and that's going to bring father and son conflict with Tommy finding out the truth about his dad. It seems to me Tommy already knows what a waster Terry is, if he's not been bothered to be in any contact with him all his life.
Nigel Pavaro is tickled to be returning to Coronation Street and this fan always enjoyed seeing what kind of aggro RTerreh causes. Oh, come on, you all stood up and cheered that time Gary Mallet thumped him at Christmas one year when he was being so insensitive about Judy's death! He's such a tosser, isn't he? He's a classic Panto villain and I enjoy watching his arrogant moustache twirling.

Brilliant news! Glad to see they're doing something with the character of Tommy, and the return of Terry is the perfect way to explore the characters and their relationship.
No complaints here. Yes he is very panto villain and Nigel Pivaro isn't the best actor in the world but I look forward to hissing every time he comes on screen and it'll be something a bit more interesting for Tommy to do other than ogle at Tina.
I always had a bit of a crush on Terry so, I'm happy he'll be back. :)
((Hugs))

Much better news than the threat of Julie Goodyear making an appearance
Maybe he and Tracy could get it on. Perfect evil couple!

Oooh, JB in Canada, don't talk that up :-)
But good news, I "love to hate" Terry Duckworth!
I like Terry and hope he stays for a while. When Chris Gascoyne was a little heavier, he seemed to morph into Nigel Pavaro. It will be interesting to see any interaction between Peter and Terry; they're about the same age and could become mates or rivals.
Wonderful idea of having Tracy and Terry get together - pure evil both of them - they so deserve each other.
This guy was a real nasty piece of work...can't wait to have him back :D He's a villian I love to hate...unlike Tracy who I wish would leave the street.
I was pleasantly surprised to learn what a nice man Nigel Pavaro seems to be during interviews; it's about time we have a grade A villan back on the Street! I like the idea of Tracy and Terry together as a super-evil couple would can toment eachother instead of the rest of the Street and perhaps he can at least cause misery for Tommy to give him something interesting to do. This is a brilliant idea and I hope it's true, in spite of PC's constant commentary about how he doesn't like to revist the past!
Yes, I'm very happy with this news, as it's the catalyst Tommy has needed. Unlike some who have been demanding to know what the 'point' of Tommy is, I have no problem with a character being gently introduced for a year or so (which is a device they used to use a lot) and then being foregrounded with a more challenging plotline (preferable to introducing a new character and then ramming her in our face constantly - oops, did I say 'her'? I menat 'him/her')
I wouldn't put tracy and terry together - unless you wanted him dead like the last evil man she was shacked up with!
Two words - What for? Why do they keep dragging characters back that are past their time. Once handsome Terry is now middle aged and jowelly, and give Tyrone some peace for goodness sake. Last time he made an appearance he was about as scary as a rice pudding.
Ooooh Terry and Tracy together = EXPLOSION! 2 of the Streets best villans you love to hate. I don't think Terry would be able to get away with selling Tommy again... :P
Bet he killed Frank, Tracey wants him, underworld an also street cars. Who is hiding in Tracey,s bedroom ???? TERRY :)
dont know why they dig up all these has beens,,lets have some new blood Terrys past it,, but like a lot of stuff on the tele, he might be a friend of someone and needs a job.
