Favourite Corrie characters countdown - seventh poll

Hello all! Now, I hope you've voted in the fifth poll of ten because that is now officially closed. But you have until midnight next Tuesday to vote for two of your favourite characters in the sixth poll.
So, who's in our seventh poll?

Rita Sullivan - Queen of the Kabin and Duchess of the Street. A personal favourite of mine, she's been married twice and has had about 15 boyfriends! Her most memorable storyline was in the 80s when she was tormented at the hands of Alan Bradley who tried to kill her, cheated on her and stole money from her. He met his maker under a Blackpool tram. Rita has led a quiet life since then, being bemused at assistants Mavis and Norris and over the years has mothered many of the Street's young girls. I recently made a tribute for her.

Raquel Watts - The dim-witted Rovers barmaid that became a firm Corrie favourite. Best remembered for her on/off relationship with Curly. Deep down, it was Des Barnes she loved but he was only interested in sex. She married Curly but the marriage soon collapsed and Raquel left Weatherfield for a new job abroad. Raquel's golden moment was trying to learn French with Ken.

Jim McDonald - The Irish rogue who was the head of the McDonald family. Married to Liz and father of Steve and Andy, Jim is remembered for sorting everything out with his fists. He's been in prison for the manslaughter of Jez Quigley and is currently serving in HMP for an attempted bank robbery.

Kevin Webster - The street mechanic who's been married to Sally for over 20 years and is the father of Rosie, Sophie and Jack. Fans still remember his moustache in the early years and for his affairs with Natalie Horrocks and later Molly Dobbs.

Jack Walker - The original landlord of the Rovers. Married to Annie for over 30 years and father of Billy and Joan. While Annie was snobbish, Jack was down to earth and would often pull her down from her pedestal, sighing 'Eeh, Annie'. Jack's main storylines including being wrongly accused by Annie of having affairs with various women - including Elsie Tanner and being blackmailed by Frank Turner.

Leonard Swindley - The bumbling manager of Gamma Garments who was also on the Mission Hall committee. He constantly clashed with the Mission's caretaker Ena Sharples. His shop assistant was Emily Nugent who admired him from afar and she made a leap year proposal which he later accepted. They planned to marry but she jilted him at the altar. They were able to salvage their friendship but Swindley later left the street when he got a new job. In Wilmington on Sea perhaps??

Who's your favourites in this batch of six? Well, vote for two of them and we'll see where they'll be in the countdown!
