The Sun has a Coronation Street spoiler in it today that says Molly Dobbs is going to be killed off at Christmas.
Not just that, but the paper also says that Sally Webster will be left looking after Molly and Kev's baby as the couple take in the child after Molly's death. By 'eck, up the barmcake, etc.

"up the barmcake"??? I know what a barmcake is (I'm from Manchester) but why would it be used in this sense?
'Cos I felt like it?
I'm a bit dubious about this one. All the quotes they used from Collinson were from an interview awhile back and have been used in other speculation and spoiler stories as well.
I'm from Scotland, and I wouldn't know a barmcake from a pint of cider, but I like the word! up'em!! whatever they are!
Thank GOD, if she is.
They don't like it up 'em Mr Mainwaring!
It's the cold steel, isn't it Nurse Florence - do you think I might be excused?!
Poor, poor Molly. But that is what you get in soap land for choosing to sleep with a bloke who is old enough to be your father.
...they always bump somebody off at Christmas time.
Joy to the world.
That's funny "Anonymous" :)).
I'm not sorry Molly's going; I never liked that Molly-Kevin story line, just didn't ring true to me.
Where'll Tyrone be during all this baby-minding by the Websters?
I think Molly and Tyrone (who should also go now) should move away with the baby. How is Sally going to cope with a young baby, workign at the factory and recovering from cancer? Will Tyrone still work at the garage and have his nose rubbed in what he thought all along was his child? If this is true its daft IMO
Yes if Tyrone is still living on the street it doesn't make sense that Sally and Kevin would take the baby unless Tyrone has found out that it's definitely Kevin's. If it isn't, then Tyrone would or should probably move away.
i agree doesnt make sense for them to have the baby while tyrone looks on-hw would never cope with that
oh who knows what story they're cooking up for the principals of the love triangle...maybe Tyrone is overwrought with sorrow and unable to care for an infant and Sally steps in?
Would she do that if the baby was known to be Kevin's?
More characters to leave the street?
Some of us already wonder if David and Tina could be leaving.
It's fun to speculate but, in the end, that's why we keep watching, I suppose.
duh
