Coronation Street's already announced that Bill Roache's two sons Linus and James will be joining in September as part of a surprise story for Ken Barlow.
Well, Digital Spy now have a video of William Roache where he reavels that either Linus or James (or both?) will be playing Ken's long-lost son - with a grandson - turning up on the Street.
Ooh, I wonder which of Ken's trillion girlfriends the long-lost son's mother will be?
Watch William Roache on video on Digital Spy.

Linus was born in 1964. Dunno if Ken had a girlfriend back then. He was married to Val at the time. He had a fling with Pip Mistral in 1964. Is she the mother maybe?
His other son James (maybe called Will) was born in 1986. Don't think Ken had an affair then as he was with Deirdre. Maybe James is playing Linus' son as there's a 22 year gap between them so it would be plausible.
Hope they'll have continuity with this storyline.
I was thinking the same thing CSC, that Linus is probably going to play Jame's son since they're a good 20 years apart anyhow. Plus, in soap land, everyone plays someone younger (most of the time), so that doesn't necessarily mean that Ken's "Long Lost Son" was born in 1964 just because the actor was. I'd pay attention to the late 60's early 70's even. He's had so many girlfriends though!
Could it be an opportunity for Joanna Lumley to make a surprise return? She played Elaine Perkins in '73, which is now 37 years ago...
Only two long lost sons? Why not make it a double double? Two long lost sons and two long lost daughters...and make a few of them ensconsed firmly in the gentry and at first rubs it into Ken's low brow existence.
Not more of Ken's long lost sons and grandsons, what happened to Adam and Denise's son?
Adam was Ken's grandson - the son of Susan and Mike Baldwin. But my mum said that a 'long lost son' scenario doesn't suit Ken. She'd expect it from the likes of Billy Walker or Ray Langton - the ones who were rough round the edges. Ken seems respectful - the same mould as Alf Roberts tbh.
I knew it. Didn't i say this back when the original article appeared? I knew it!! And Ken did have an affair while married to Val, i looked it up in the 35th anniversary book - Reporter Jackie Marsh in 1966. That's the most likely candidate.
I'd put by money on either Pip Mistral (1964) or Jackie Marsh (1966)
I think Jackie was more of a memorable character in that she had more of a storyline.
Joanna Lumley has recently spoken whistfully of her time on The Street and hinted that she would love to return (although she's committed to appearing in the play La Bete in London for the rest of the summer, followed by a Broadway transfer, so she won't be available for some time. I'd LOVE this to involve the return of Elaine Perkins!
