I was only thinking on Sunday that we hadn't seen Chesney in a while on Coronation Street, and then there he was on Monday, bless his cotton socks. Then my other favourites the Windasses turned up! I love them, I know that's a minority opinion but I do, I think they're so interesting and, well, normal. I'd love for Ches to find out about Sian and Sophie and have to come to terms with that. Forget John Stape, he's not important to my life. Which is a shame, because I really like the actor. I'd love for the Windasses to adopt or foster a little one to be friends with Amy and Joshua, Anna would be great in the mummy wars!
Who else haven't we seen around in a while that you'd like to? I'm actually starting to miss M'reeuh.

I miss Maria too. I also really miss Amber! I know that she went off to Uni, but I thought it was said that she would be back for a few episodes here and there, but nothing so far. I think it would have been good to see her reaction to Sunita and Dev, and how well she would get on with Sunita.
Betty and Sally haven't been in it for a while. Love to see them!

And Amber is always missed, love her.
I don't miss Maria (a little too whiny and whinging and weak-willed), but I miss Amber -- more than anyone, I think she portrays a young adult's angst best without getting into exaggerated or extremes like a devil seed David Platt or a numpho like Dozy Rosie... just by rolling her eyes -mostly at Dev, her hapless/hopeless father....
I like Amber too. Darryl was great as well but he's probably not coming back, is he? I'm also a Windass fan - and a Stapist, though I'm certain I'm the only one alive!!
Amber definitely. Not seen anything of Teresa since Kelly left, or hardly and i know she's leaving too but that's a shame.
I'm missing Sally a lot but Maria... nah.
I liked Amber. Her and Dev had some good scenes together, funny ones as well as touching ones, really believable as father and daughter. Darryl was good too. I loved his hair. I'd love to have messy hair that actually looks good, and like it's meant to be messy, you know? I also like the Windasses now that they've settled down, and gotten rid of that horrible Uncle whatever his name was, honestly can't remember his name, crap character. Anna Windass especially is dead canny.
I'd like to see Vernon return at some point.
I concur with the missing Amber brigade. A brilliant young character and a shining light for young people. I would just die to see her interact with her younger brother and sister.
Missing Sally too! At least we heard about her this week.
Loving the Windasses. Though i think they would be better with a younger child. Maybe a teenager. I actually think we need another teenager on the Street.
And it goes without saying that i always want to see more of the wonderful Natasha.
And there is me contradicting myself about the Windasses! I meant an older child rather than younger.

Yes Amber! We never got to see her with the twins, I REALLY want to!
I liked Kayleigh too. Made Chesney bearable.
