It's all a bit CarPet isn't it?

I'd really like to see David Nielson get something for his portrayal of Roy, which is really understated but always beautifully done.

New CarPet aside, Jane Danson & Katherine Kelly were miles ahead of Allison King this year. Not a knock on her, Allison is a perfectly fine, enjoyable actress, but, IMHO, she and her character didn't show the range and depth the other ladies did.

I completely agree with Dolly Tubb re: David Neilson. Peter & Carla, blech! Roy & Hayley are the best couple on the street. Have been for years.

A pity Corrie couldn't have a Best Mystery nomination: 'How we get away with rubbish storylines and lousy actors'.

Definitely agree about David Nielson, although Chris Gascoyne can be excellent. The best couple in Corrie are Roy and Hayley. I also agree about Jane Danson and Katherine Kelly being far superior to Alison King, who I think is greatly over-rated.

I've never really understand how these soap awards nominations are put together.

Absolutely, it should be Roy and Hayley.Best mystery would be how could Steve make the same mistake with Tracy? The man's an idiot!

Strong nominations, although Jane and Katherine are strong actresses it would be good for Alison to get some recognition for her part. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think she is yet to win an award for her part.
