Coronation Street Episode Review Monday 31st August
"I let you go down for it, I should've told the police I was there," says Johnny finally ending the speculation of why he was avoiding Scott.
"I would've done the same," says Scott.
And the two make up and pledge eternal BFF-ness...Hands up who thinks this isn't going to end here?? Scott flirts with Jenny, so maybe she is his evil revenge plan?
Daniel persuades badger-haired Adam to go down to the cop shop and get Naughty Nicki released from an assault charge. She has already been kicked out of the police station without charge but Adam finds out about Nicki's job. She turns up to the flat and yells at Daniel before he gives her the spiel about how he much likes her - and not just because she reminds him of Sinead (I think Sinead would be a bit insulted, non?). Just then Tracy turns up and insists Nicki talk to her because she's been shielding for three months and is bored. Adam returns home and Nicki takes advantage of this to leave, telling Daniel not to contact her again.
In Speed Daal, Alya says she is relieved that Yasmeen is getting better and things are looking up. That's like saying "nothing else can go wrong" - and straight away Ghastly Geoff walks in and says he is working full time now, and Alya can leave, oh and also they're getting and alcohol licence and a new supplier He then reveals that Yasmeen signed a power of attorney so he has equal share of the business. What will the evil-doer do next!?
Debbie meets Abi coming back from an AA meeting (not the Automobile Association) and they trade some barbs.
