ITV has been given planning consent by Trafford Council to expand Corrie tour operations for fans.
ITV will construct a three-story, multipurpose building to serve as a home for the Coronation Street Tours, says Place North West.
The project includes a first-floor Coronation Street visitor experience area, as well as a café bar, merchandising and ticket sales facilities, and exhibition and conference space.
The new tour building is to be erected to the southeast of the site next to Studio Four.
