Corrie Comicals week ending 8 May 2020
The Monday episode was very clearly the second part of Friday's episode, it was not clear if there was only an advert break or a full half hour between the two - I think the plan was the former. Consequently there was little which was not coercively forced down our throats. I am indebted to Jaci Stephen for drawing my attention to Sally remarking on Tim eating an artichoke at the re-opening of the Vidauct Bistro which we were not allowed to see!
Remarks were made about Yasmeen's dress and Brian observes that he was rarely aware of the clothes worn by the ladies around him. Carla (above) states that if Peter had adopted the same approach he confirms his life would have been far easier - but also as Carla adds far less fun. Peter does have an excuse - he inherited it genetically from his father!
So how do hidden cameras work then? Do they just stream and the output goes nowhere or does it get stored on a cloud server or a local PC or what? If Yasmeen cleans the house at all ever how come she has not seen it or wondered what it was given the way she kicked off when there was a visible one in the corner of the room. And to be honest if Weatherfield's finest cannot find it then will anyone (apart from Geoff who will no doubt waltz home shortly and destroy the evidence - well I would wouldn't you?)?
Gail has just quietly arrived in the kitchen as David was inspecting a torn t-shirt thereby startling him. As he says for someone who normally cannot stop talking - she is like a ninja (above) when her gob is shut!
Nina is perceptive but her observation recorded above is without parallel. Of course Roy is right and it will never be Coronation Street if he is wrong!
Nina gets double helpings tonight - but then she is being reformed. Asha asks her what it is like being a goth. "Awesome" replies Nina having accepted a compliment on her headress and then goes onto add "Except in summer. In the summer, sweaty." (above).
Which wraps it up for this week!
