Pics: Look back at our favourite Corrie camping trips

As Gemma and Chesney go caravanning tonight on Coronation Street, it's time to have a look back at some of the other Corrie camping trips over the years, whether under canvas or in a caravan.

Members of the Platt, Battersby and Webster families are pictured above while filming scenes at Gorse Holiday Park near Conwy, Wales in 1999.

Julie and Brian camping out under the stars.

Ken and Deirdre's ill-fated caravan weekend in Wales in 2014. Ken was in his element while Deirdre hated it and they came home early.

Roy and Hayley under canvas.

Spider and Toyah camping out awaiting a cosmic event on the Red Rec.

Are there any more Corrie camping trips you can remember? Let us know and we'll add them in!

I don't know if this counts, but didn't Rita and Bet go on a caravan holiday together when Len refused to go? If I remember, they ended up being pursued by some blokes in the adjacent site.

Victor Pendlebury took Mavis on a camping trip in the Lakes once, after he practised putting the tent up in her flat!
Also, weren't the Croppers on a camping trip with a few other families when they abducted Wayne?
Plus it wasn't exactly a holiday, but Spider and co. camped out on the Roberts' lawn in protest that one time!

And of course, we can't forget king of camp, Callum! :)

Not exactly 'camping' but in 1995 the Platts went on a caravan holiday and ended up next door to the Duckies. While playing hide and seek with Tommy, Sarah and David, Jack manages to 'hide' in the local pub and gets hammered. The closing credits have him drunk trying to find the caravan (8th May 1995).

I guess Emily and Spider spending time in a tree doesn't count, eh?
