Pic: Tina falls to her death - or has she been pushed?
This is the moment that Coronation Street barmaid Tina McIntyre plunges to the cobbles from the balcony of the builders’ yard after a dramatic confrontation with her killer.
The heart-stopping scenes will be screened on May 27th on ITV - ending months of speculation about the identity of Tina’s murderer.
And in the run up to ‘Murder Week’ viewers will have the chance to watch four alternative showdowns between Tina and the four possible killers on the official Coronation Street website.
Fans will also be given the opportunity to vote for who they think will kill the beautiful brunette before the real row is screened in the episode shown at 9pm on May 27th.
But the drama doesn’t end that night - there is a shocking twist on Weds 28th, followed by the start of a huge police hunt to find the murderer.
Over the next few months viewers will see the cold blooded killer desperately trying to evade capture and put police off the scent. But will the culprit succeed in ensuring that an innocent person takes the rap for their crime?
Tina has been playing with fire ever since she started her illicit affair with Peter Barlow but she has been determined to win her man, oblivious to the fact that wife Carla is pregnant with his child.
In the days leading up to her death Tina believes she has finally persuaded Peter to run away with her but does he really plan to dump Carla? Or has Tina pushed him to breaking point?
What is certain is that Tina has finally gone too far and ends up picking a fight with the wrong person on the balcony of the builder’s yard which results in her plunging to the cobbles below.

Same story as Sunita's murder not even original
I think she jumped. It was her only way out of this ridiculous storyline.
Wonder if her fake bun will fall off!
I still don't understand why she'd meet any of the four suspects in the builder's yard. The only one that makes sense is Tony. I guess all will be revealed soon enough.
Great. Just when you thought it couldn't look more like Tony is the one who did it, it happens at the builder's yard. As Tvor said, there is no reason why any of the four suspects would be there with her (how do they all get in?) I hope that for once they'll be able to pull off a surprise and not have it be as obvious as it looks.
It's becoming clearer now that the killer is Tony, and I'm beginning to see where the murder weapon comes into it. Tony strikes Tina with a tool from the yard, hoping to dispose of her body somewhere. But she falls backwards over the balcony and he can only dispose of the tool.
The real tension in this is surely that one of the four is wrongly accused etc etc. And another thing, isn't Tracy driving the van full of dodgy goods that same night? Perhaps the goods are going to be stored at the yard and Tina witnesses the drop-off. This scenario would make Tracy an accessory, as well, or another problem for Tony to resolve.
Didn't Tina tell Steph she was going to make sure Peter doesn't get a happy ending?Since it does come out about their affair and Tina is person non grata, perhaps she kills herself but makes it look like Peter killed her?
