A few days ago we ran a poll to ask Coronation Street fans where they would like to work on Coronation Street.
Over 420 fans voted and the results are in. Here are the five most popular places that Coronation Street fans would want to work in:
The Rovers Return behind the bar 25.7%
Streetcars Cab Office 11.21%
The Kabin selling sweeties 10.98%
Medical Centre 6.54%
Roy's Rolls selling bacon barms 6.07%
Interestingly, this came in at 2nd place:
I'd open up my own business in Fred Elliott's butcher shop, I say, work for myself 15.89%
And the two least favourite places to work were in the chippy and at Kev's garage.

And if I were to open my own business, I say my own business, it would be a book store combined with a coffee and juice bar. And I would probably go broke in a month.
It must be great to work in the Rovers, you dont have to turn up if you dont want to, when you do you can ask to go early, take constant breaks and if any of the customers upset you, none of that they are always right nonsense, you can abuse them or even hit them or throw a glass of drink over them but you will never be sacked, a finger waggle will be the worst you can expect and you will be called "a good worker".
Kev's Garage at the bottom of the list? As a gearhead, I'm delighted. I wouldn't have to fight off many people for a position!
