I'm brassed off with all these months and months of scheduling changes - the Cumbria incident is an understandable reason for altering things - but football ?!? Show it earlier on the appointed evening, or later; but to have Corrie cancelled outright and moved to other days - I tell you ITV are playing with fire.
Financially ITV are in SERIOUS trouble, and could go the way of Northern Rock and Woolworths - it's that serious.
Messing about with their N0:1 ratings winner, against ALL channels - is simply taking the viewers loyalty for granted.
They've recently appointed an ex-supermarket executive in charge of ITV and his conclusions appear to be to start introducing charges for everything, and just like they make you walk to the back of the supermarket for bread and milk, so they think they can do the same with staples like Corrie.
I'm not slavishly following these scheduling changes, (Cumbria incident excluded) - however if I miss episodes, I miss episodes - I can always catch a blog update on here. Could be habit forming - missing episodes; then where would ITV be?
Time for Corrie fans to kick up holy hell over the scheduling changes due to ITV sports programmes! There's room for BOTH on the same night, not just one or t'other!
