Graeme chains David Platt to a radiator - but why?

This has got to be one of the funniest Coronation Street pictures I've seen in a long time. It's David Platt chained to a radiator, of course, and why not? It happens when Graeme decides to tell David that he's now dating Tina and in order to be sure that David's not going to punch his lights out, Graeme chains David to the radiator in Gail's house first before delivering the news to the Plattser. By the look of things in the pic, David yanks the radiator off the wall and goes in search of Graeme...

Brilliant - I could do with that for my bathroom actually. David looks like he's in the middle of a massive air guitar solo.

Miss Macintyresome is getting like the local bike, relationships with David, then Jason then she jumps into bed with Grahame, who next Chesney? She is such a user. Where is the little cuckoo going to live, doesnt Graham live with the Platts?

Rent it/buy it off Jason -- if only...but I thought Tina had no money -- she's only a store clerk and her father didn't have any money to leave her unless this insurance thing comes through...well, if insurnace money is available, it will go first to Gail...then Gail will have to decide if Tina is entitled to a portion...

Hmm, interesting point! CAN the insurance come through now that a jury's decided Joe, in effect, died accidently? Gail has insisted (truthfully) that her signature was forged on the insurance form, but the police (idiots!) never got a graphologist to prove or disprove it. Anyone got any legal knowledge of how this could play out?

Just how would someone be able to yank off a radiator from the wall without tools? There must be a hell of a flood in the room now. Funny story line but a bit far fetched even for a soap.
