The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) held a contest this spring to find Canada's number one Coronation Street fan and the winner was Oshawa, Ontario resident, Deborah Cyr. I've known Deborah for several years through a couple of the Coronation Street online communities and she's kindly agreed to an interview. Deborah has met over 40 Corrie actors and has almost as many autographs as she has met actors. She's had a private VIP tour of the set with one of our favourite (now ex-) stars, Jayne Tunnicliffe (Bickerton) who played Yana Lumb. She's even had two video messages, one from Jack P. Shepherd and one from Rob James-Collier (be still my beating heart!)
Deborah wins a trip for two to Manchester for a visit to the set, sometime early in 2010, and she's quite excited about that.
Get to know a bit more about Deborah, one lucky lady! The full text of the interview is here. Congratulations!
