Boyzone singer Keith Duffy, who played barman Ciaran McCarthy is returning to Corrie, says The Sun. The paper says that Keith has been in comeback talks with producers this week and the ITV Corrie site on twitter recently said he'd been spotted in the green room at Coronation Street too, so it's looking pretty positive.The Sun says that Corrie writers want to bring Ciaran back to team up with old pal Peter Barlow on his gastro-pub venture to rival the Rovers. Ladies' man Ciaran could also make a play for ex-girlfriend Sunita (Shobna Gulati) who is also returning to Weatherfield later this year.
The official ITV Corrie site say that while Keith Duffy is in talks with them, nothing's been confirmed yet as to his return.
