Blog exclusive: Competition to win Corrie spin-off DVD

Pardon the Expression was a Coronation Street spin-off TV series starring Arthur Lowe which aired in 1966. The complete second series is now available to buy on DVD as a four-disc set.

Thanks to the lovely people at Network DVD, we've got an exclusive, exciting competition. We have two DVD sets to give away, so that's two lucky Corrie fans who can win one of the sets each!

Pardon the Expression follows the mixed fortunes of former Weatherfield boutique owner Leonard Swindley (Arthur Lowe). It features scripts from an award-winning team that included Coronation Street contributors Harry Driver and Vince Powell. Betty Driver - soon to be installed behind the bar of the Rover’s Return - stars as canteen manageress Mrs. Edgeley. Julie Goodyear and Amanda Barrie are also among the famous faces appearing in this second series.

So - to win one of the two DVD sets of the second series of Pardon the Expression, all you have to do is answer the question below and email your answer to me. Closing date for entries is 5pm on Friday August 28th. Only those with a UK mailing address can enter. Good luck!

Competition question: What was the name of the Rosamund Street clothes shop where Leonard Swindley and Emily Nugent worked?
