ITV today announced its biggest early evening schedule change which will impact on Coronation Street.
Starting in March 2022, Coronation Street makes the move to 3 x 1 hour long episodes at 8pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday,.

The current schedules are all about avoiding clashing with EastEnders, wonder why ITV have finally decided to go head to head?
It does seem strange to try and compete after all this time.
For decades, Corrie's been on at 7. 30, Mon, Weds and Fri.
I think it's do with the introduction of an hour long national news slot.
I don't mean to sound downbeat but who wants to watch an hour of doom and gloom when people come home, stressed and shattered, from work?
I can see it really cheering us up!
I won't be tuning in to an hour long news. I reckon CH5 have the evening news just right - a quick 2 mins update every hour or so!
