Coronation Street Spoiler: Carla and Peter back together?

The previews are in for next week’s Coronation Street and after pushing her workforce to the limit to finish the Bradshaw’s order Alya is shocked to discover they have made 3000 units too many!

Peter clocks Alya accusing Carla of tampering with the Bradshaw’s order and Carla opens up to Peter hoping he could be a useful ally.  Carla flirts with Peter and suggests that they could do with some evidence to prove that Susie would be better off with Johnny.

But is she just using him to get baby Susie into the Connor family – or could there be love (or, please, at least a lusty night) on the cards again for these two?

I sincerely hope not. Time they both moved on from each other, old history now.

NO!!! Peter and Leanne are much better suited. Carla and Peter only bring out the worst in each other. Plus Peter shouldn't want to get back together with Carla after she slept with his brother!

Maybe Eva will step up her game when things get nasty. If she got an astute legal team, they could surely prove Johnny was medically unfit and Jenny was psychologically unsuitable. As for Carla and Peter, he was only attractive to her when he belonged to someone else. I expect Peter will go along with it for a while out of vengeance. His own childhood with the loss of his mother will eventually make him decide that Susie should be with Eva. Peter ought to be with Leanne but that's a step too icky. Carla wouldn't want Peter long-term and his new career, post Rovers, will maybe tie in with another break for Chris G.

Please no! Peter and Leanne belong together. It was their getting together in 2008 that was a turning point for both characters in terms of their development. Peter was happy with Leanne but was suffocated with Carla. A reunion for the two is long overdue. Chemistry is about more than intense stares. Simon and Oliver means that both of them would have one biological child each in their relationship so would make the perfect family unit. Peter and Carla were born out of Carla's grief for Liam and Peter's Alcoholism, it was a great story at the time but that's all it was and should be.

I really hope they don't go down the route of Nick and Leanne (who only ever really had chemistry back in 2010 when they had the affair - since then it's just felt forced and there isn't much of a spark there - it'd be a waste of two fantastic characters) and Peter and Carla again, that'd be so boring.

Although that said, I think that they have been subtly hinting at Peter and Leanne in recent months. In a more meaningful way than Peter and Carla which has been very explicit. I think it's possible that Carla is indeed using Peter here, and as Carla and Toyah have been the two relationships (who ironically, if you watch a scene in 2011 were her two choices as bridesmaid in her wedding blessing to Peter!) to succeed his with Leanne and he'll feel as though he should never have left Leanne in the first place.

I agree with all the comments that Peter and Leanne belong together. There is so much more chemistry between them than they have with any other partner.

Well it is a soap so we are expected to suspend disbelief and accept that all these attractive women still continue to fall for Peter. Just as back in the day we accepted that Joanna Lumley and Stephanie Beecham fell for drip dry Ken.

I loved Peter and Leanne together before he messed around with Carla.
My problem with them reuniting would be the yuck factor involved...personaly..there is no way i could be intimate with someone who was intimate with my sister.
there is something creepy about going from one sister to the other and then back again...YUCK..ICK
